-—’I am an African’—-

—‘I am an African’—

I am an African
not by chance nor by
any measure from
a bi-polar or uni-polar
dramatic incidentality.

I am an African
not because our universe
was stuck in the filth
of some malevolent
idiosyncratic colonial
dogma.

I am an African
not because I feel
so sympathic of
whether some paperly
scribbled independence
was achieved by an
onslaught desire to
shout:
“at long last the battle has ended”.

I am an African
because that is
what divinity made me…
I am an African
because the pulses
of the spirits of
my ancestors stream
inside the core
of my whole.

I am an African
because:
“nothing wundersam has ever happened to the entire human spectrum than being an African.”

I am an African
because my spirituality
glows beyond mere
verbose description
of religion and sects.

I am an addicted
African!

      1. The honour is mine! I’m very impressed with what I’ve read so far. Looking forward to more virtual/philosophical/spiritual trips to the Land of African Dreams!
