——“POEISTORY” Chapter 1—–

—-“POEISTORY” Chapter 1—-
(Tell your ears and lips)

One day,
she shall come home:
in her renewed bones,
nourished skin and kit—

She has been quaked,
whiskered and limbed:
she seek for freedom again,
and of cackling steel fortune—

Going and growing,
the lizard endures enough:
of rot and bleached shame,
bloated and toasted—-

She shall come home again,
with chapters of clappings:
to tell her own story,
and in her own words—

Thus I shall write again,
sing more again,
of her own story;
of our history and story,
in golden woven ink
called ‘POEISTORY’ for Africa—-
