On an Island of emptiness

I thought I was a “wise-man”;
I made it a point to change humanity,
and to redefine history–
were the biggest prices I had to pay before death.
I was only a branch of foolishness!
especially when the dawn of realism knocked me,
so hard on the forehead—

Many people think they can change society;
better wise reform humanity,
and to respectively define history positively….
but I tell you,
———they are all worthless!
this Island of decision is barren;
and vaingloriously infertile….
it is an Island of emptiness.
