ESCHEWING CHRONIC SYCHOPHANCY PER THE FACTUALISM AT HAND
NELSON MADIBA MANDELA MIGHT BE THE FAMOUS BUT OSAGYEFO KWAME NKRUMAH REMAINS AFRICA’S GREATEST MAN OF ALL TIME.
Fact shall always remain it status and momentum as nothing plaguing reality.
Mandela per the omen beating the praisal drums round the global stage be unanimously declared as the famous individual to have rocked the Africa continent but Nkrumah remains and shall remain the greatest African of all time.
It is quiet unfortunate getting people who know the fact of issues twisting it the other way round. It is also very tempting get the feeling of myopicy hearing people with fair knowledge and idea about Africa’s political and liberation history and it entailment tends preaching the vice of it as if it’s summary is meritable when a comparison is made between Nkrumah and Mandela.
Nkrumah’s supremacy and superiority transcends and permeates every political sphere and fibre of our and Africa’s political doctrines.
Nkrumah’s Ideological Institute gave birth to giant liberation forces of whom President Robert Mugabe typifies such class of individuals.
We cannot say that Madiba isn’t great, that would amount to sheer ignorance but Nkrumah’s greatest is beyond measure but in analysing who should be crowned without a stream of doubt who is the greatest of all needs critical scrutiny. Whiles Mandela is and still credited with the Modern day South Africa, same is Ghana accorded to Nkrumah. The roles played by both great icons in saving their nations South Africa and Ghana respectively from white crushing is highly an unprecedented achievement.
The hope, faith and believed both men restored into their people and nations is also another area worth touching if we want to make a toast out of it this cogent discussion.
On the other side of the tossing coin of this deliberation regarding who is who amongst these two Africa legends and their contribution to the continental amelioration of Africa, one can state categorically without any Shrek of doubt that Nkrumah’s charisma, contribution and exuberance dims and dwindles that of Mandela.
Whiles those of the other political landscapers of strugglers for freedom and independence from white dominance in Africa deemed Nkrumah as their “political and freedom patron and saint”, what can be said of Mandela. I guess nothing visibly conspicuous.
We must thus as a people who would want to prove our instincts worth it firmity and fairness, make it clear and comprehensible to the other discerning folks that though Mandela’s fame surpasses that of Nkrumah and be regarded the Famous African of all time, it is rightly to declare and crown Nkrumah as the Greatest African of all time bearing mind who is Africa’s man of the millennium.
